Youth Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center

“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6

Youth Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center, led by Minister Sherri Griffin, seeks to develop authentic Christian relationships among our youth of all ages, connecting real life to a real faith. We foster an environment of Basic Christian principles, fellowship and trust, by offering basic Bible fundamentals. We bring our youth into age-appropriate worship where they can feel a sense of belonging to the family of God. They can grow in their relationship with Christ, learn to serve and then go share Christ with the world!

Minister Sherri Griffin

Youth Ministry Leader

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Minister Sherri Griffin comes from a family of preachers. Her grandmother, the Late Overseer Almeter Diggs, her father and Pastor, Bishop Jerry Diggs, her mother Evangelist Cynthia Diggs, her siblings, Minister Tonya and Deacon Antoine Diggs. God has truly gifted this family in the Ministry.

She serves as an Associate Minister of the New Israelite Family Worship Center, where her father, Bishop Dr. Jerry Diggs, is the Pastor. They both were raised and nurtured under the anointing and tutelage of the Late Overseer Almeter Diggs.

Minister Griffin says that “Trusting God is not always easy, but it is definitely necessary”. She is a very gifted and talented young woman, with what is often called “an old spirit.” She often says, “sitting, talking, and spending quality time with the Mothers of Zion, is an asset”. She has attained much knowledge and wisdom to help her on her journey with the Lord.

Minister Griffin is very caring and nurturing, with a passion for the youth.

She also serves as the Youth Ministry Leader. Each Sunday at New Israelite Family Worship Center, she leads The Children’s Academy in enlightening and spirit-filled tasks and assignments while their parents attend Sunday morning worship. She greatly enjoys, teaching, mentoring, and sharing God’s Word with the youth of the church to help them to grow and live out their faith.
