Ushers/Ambassadors Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center
"I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness". Psalm 84:10b
The Ushers/Greeters Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center, led by Elder Linda Diggs. Elder Linda oversees this area ministry with true humility understanding that Ushers/Greeters are really called to be Ministers of Hospitality. Therefore, her mantra for the ushers/greeters is that you must understand that you are Ministers of Hospitality. Therefore, we are entrusted with promoting a sense of welcoming and belonging to all the faithful assembled for worship. The duty of our ushers and greeters is to serve, not be servile.
Sister Tonya Hill
President, Usher/Greeters Ministry
"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want ..."
Sister Tonya Hill has been a faithful member of The New Israelite Church of Deliverance for 15 years. She is the epitome of the expression “Humble and Faithful Servant”. Sister Tonya serves as president of the Usher Board, and she is very passionate and enthusiastic about her position in ministry. She never mind lending a hand where ever needed.
During her tenure with this Ministry, her spiritual growth has soared exceptionally. While she presents with a bubbly, enthusiastic demeanor, pleasing God is the heart of her worship, and her praise is powerful. The work of God is first and foremost in her heart.
Sister Tonya is a gem to the body of Christ and to all those that she encounters. She endeavors to do all as unto her Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ with tenacity, integrity, humility, and loyalty. Her favorite Scripture is Isaiah 54:17. With an in-depth understanding of this passage of scripture, she is able to live each day trusting in faith, that adversity has the ability to come against her, but what is set out to do her harm, physically, spiritually, emotionally, or mentally does not have the authority because God the God she serves will block it every time.
