Deeper Roots Dance Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center/The Sisters Of Completion Ministry
“Let them praise His name in the dance.” Psalm 149:3a
The Deeper Roots Dance Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center is led by Elder Tonya Diggs. Our liturgical dance group demonstrates the majesty, power, splendor and wonder of the Scriptures through dance. Through this area of ministry, we encourage the believer in his or her relationship with the Lord and draw the unbeliever to Him.
We promote the use of the whole body as God’s temple to minister and serve Him, delighting in every moment of our praise and our worship. They also learn to work with other members as a group to express the same vision.

“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Tonya S. Diggs is an Elder of the New Israelite Family Worship Center, under the leadership of her father and Pastor, Bishop Dr. Jerry Diggs. She was ordained to the General Ministry in October 2015 at her home church by Bishop Jerry Diggs. Elder Diggs comes from a very strong spiritual lineage; The Late Overseer Almeter Diggs was her grandmother, who nurtured her from a very young age for the call and charge on her life. Elder Diggs’ mother, Elder Cynthia Diggs, as well as her siblings, Minister Jerry Antoine Diggs and Elder Sherri Griffin, are also preachers.
Elder Tonya acknowledges God in all that she does, and makes Him the priority in her life. Being blessed with the Gift of Helps, she loves to serve. She has participated regularly in outreach projects such as “Let’s Feed the City” Sponsored by Dale Griffin, Inc., and has volunteered at “My Sisters Place” Women’s Day Shelter. She also serves as one of the Praise and Worship Leaders, Outreach Ministry, Trustee, Youth Leader, and various other areas of ministry.
This preacher, wakes up to praise, and has been a praiser since she was able to walk; she lives to serve, as she is the epitome of humility. In line with one of her favorite quotes, “praise is what I do”, she is a worshiper from the heart, because worship and praise is who she is in spirit and in truth.
