Ushers/Greeters Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center

"I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness". Psalm 84:10b

The Ushers/Greeters Ministry of New Israelite Family Worship Center, led by Minister Felicia Hudson, assists the Pastor in making the worship service a success by greeting each worshiper with a pleasant smile and warm welcome thereby putting the congregation in the right frame of mind to receive the message; to ensure that order is kept in and around the church at all times; and to do whatever possible to advance God’s kingdom and the church.

Denise McEachern

President, Ushers Ministry

"The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want ..."

Psalm 23:1

Sister Denise McEachern has been a faithful member of The New Israelite Church of Deliverance for over seven years. She is the epitome of the expression “Humble and Faithful Servant”. Sister Denise serves as president of the Usher Board. She serves with compassion and does not mind lending a hand when and wherever needed.

During her tenure with this Ministry, her spiritual growth has soared exceptionally. While she presents with a humble, quiet demeanor, pleasing God is the heart of her worship and her praise is powerful. It is evident that the work of God is first and foremost in her heart.

Sister Denise was born and raised in North Carolina where she received most of her education. Her educational endeavors and career goals were not limited to just being a student. There was a real shift in her life as she later enlisted in the U.S. Army where she has served for 34 years. For the US Government she operates in a totally different capacity, as Master Sargent. However, in lieu of her commitment to God and the US Government, she finds the time to interact with her family. The high point of holidays and the summer season, is her time well spent with her children and grandchildren.

Sister Denise is a gem to the body of Christ and to all those that she encounters. She endeavors to do all as unto her Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ with tenacity, integrity, humility, and loyalty. Her favorite Scripture is the 23rd Psalm. With an in-depth understanding of the Psalm, she is able to live each day trusting in faith, that God is her shepherd and because He is, she has everything that she needs.

Minister Felicia V. Hudson

Ushers/Greeters Ministry Leader

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not to thine own understanding.

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6

Minister Felicia Hudson is from Baltimore, Maryland. She has been a member of the New Israelite Church of Deliverance, Inc. for many years where she serves as an Associate Minister. She originally served under the tutelage of the Late Overseer Almeter Diggs and now serves under Bishop Dr. Jerry Diggs, her current Pastor.

Minister Felicia accepted the Lord as her Savior at an early age. As a young child, she loved to sing and had an ear for music. Gospel music always motivated her to sing God’s praises. Singing praises unto the Lord is not a career choice, says Minister Felicia, it’s a calling, and this is her passion; Praise is what she does, and worship is who she is. As Minister Felicia continued in ministry, the Lord had another assignment and a new direction. She accepted the call to ministry in 2008, and was officially ordained to the General Ministry in 2011 at her home church. Minister Felicia will trust in the Lord always, allowing Him to direct her in all that she does. She has learned to trust God beyond what she sees and to stand firm on His Word which always gives her divine direction and strength.

Minister Felicia holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts with concentrations in Psychology and English from The College of Notre Dame of Maryland University, Master’s and Honorary Doctoral Degree in Biblical Studies from The North Carolina School of Theology and Certificate of completion of Biblical Studies courses from the School of Ministry within the North Carolina School of Theology and Faith Theological Seminary. She has participated and received certifications in various Mental Health Cohorts from Johns Hopkins University. She also majored in Music Theory and Voice at The Peabody Conservatory of Music. She has a quest for excellence in God, and loves to study His Word. She continues to strive toward and produce excellence in all of the ministry opportunities that are afforded to her.

She is also gifted in the areas of teaching, music, preaching, and church administration. She loves to give back all that the Lord has given and entrusted to her. Therefore, she serves in service organizations such as shelters, hospitals, recovery facilities, and churches throughout Baltimore, Maryland. In her home church, she serves as Church Administrator, Music and Outreach Ministries, along with Ushers/Greeters Ministry.
