“For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
Minister Tonya S. Diggs is an Associate Minister of the New Israelite Family Worship Center, under the leadership of her father and Pastor, Bishop Dr. Jerry Diggs. She was ordained to the General Ministry in October 2015 at her home church by Bishop Jerry Diggs. Minister Diggs comes from a very strong spiritual lineage; The Late Overseer Almeter Diggs was her grandmother, who nurtured her from a very young age for the call and charge on her life. Minister Diggs’ mother, Evangelist Cynthia Diggs, as well as her siblings, Deacon Jerry Antoine Diggs and Minister Sherri Griffin, are also preachers.
Minister Tonya acknowledges God in all that she does, and makes Him the priority in her life. Being blessed with the Gift of Helps, she loves to serve. She participates regularly in outreach projects such as “Let’s Feed the City” Sponsored by Dale Griffin, Inc., as well as volunteering monthly at “My Sisters Place” Women’s Day Shelter. She also has served in the capacity of Praise and Worship Leader, Outreach Ministry, Trustee, Youth Leader, and various other areas of ministry.
This preacher, wakes up to praise, and has been a praiser since she was able to walk; she lives to serve, as she is the epitome of humbleness. In line with one of her favorite quotes, “praise is what I do”, she is a worshiper from the heart, because worship and praise is who she is in spirit and in truth.
